Karnataka’s government is accelerating the acquisition of land for a new industrial node near Tumakuru, according to a statement by state minister Basavaraj Patil. The project, which covers 1,736 acres, is being positioned as a catalyst for large‑scale private investment and employment generation in the region.
Patil told reporters that the land‑acquisition process is proceeding without major hurdles. He said the state has already identified the required acreage and that surveys, compensation and clearances are moving forward in line with the planned schedule.
