Kerala’s Sacred Heart School emerged as the champion of the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) state science fest, gathering 302 points to claim the top spot, The Hindu reported. The achievement places the school ahead of a field of more than 200 participating institutions across the state.

Close on its heels, Peace Public School in Kottakkal earned the runner‑up position with 288 points, while Straightpath International School from Panakkad took third place with 275 points, according to the same source. The three schools distinguished themselves through a mix of project displays, quiz rounds and practical experiments that were judged by a panel of science educators.

The CBSE science fest is an annual event designed to foster inquiry‑based learning among secondary‑school students.
